Gallery Night Kicks Off Blues Home Show Weekend and GUMBO GALLERY OPENS!
The Arts Council of Northwest Florida will kick off the Blue Angels’ home show weekend on Friday, July 10 with Gallery Night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the streets of downtown Pensacola. Additionally, Port City Market will mark its Friday night debut. Launched in May 2009, the Port City Market, located at Main and Palafox Streets, features fine art and fresh produce from local artists and farms. This popular community event is free.

BALLET PENSACOLA ANNOUNCES 2009/2010 SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS
Ballet Pensacola announces that Dance Chance scholarship auditions will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Ballet Pensacola Studios in the Pensacola Cultural Center. Children ages 7 and above are eligible for partial or full scholarships. Parents are asked to bring children ages 7 and above at 12:00pm.

2009-10 General Program Support Applications Available! Deadline extended to General Program Support grant program has been extended toThursday, July 2 at 4 p.m.
The Arts Council of Northwest Florida (ACNWFL) is accepting General Program Support (GPS) grant applications for 2009-2010 now. The GPS is designed to provide recognition through competitive grants for significant public programs that present, strengthen, and foster excellence and diversity in art or culture for Escambia County residents and visitors. ACNWFL, through the GPS, encourages a commitment to outreach and educational services to underserved areas and populations, and increased access for persons with disabilities. This program is dedicated to fund not-for-profit arts and culture organizations.
